Jennifer is a senior majoring in Electrical Engineering. She joined the team in the Fall of 2017 as an Electrical Team member working to design circuit boards. She was previously the Media &Branding chair and is currently working on the Mechanical Team to develop a new torpedo system alongside her presidential duties.
She plans on graduating in Spring 2020 and continuing on to graduate school to earn a Master's degree in robotics.
Blaine is a junior studying Electrical & Computer Engineering. He joined the team in 2017 as a freshman working on the electrical and software teams. He was the Electrical Lead during the 2018 –2019 school year. This past summer he interned at Batelle, and he plans to graduate in Spring 2021.
Gus Workman is a senior majoring in Computer Engineering and Chinese. He joined the team in 2017 as an Electrical Team member, and his primary responsibilities have been working with the firmware for the coprocessor board. Gus recently completed another internship at Garmin in Taiwan and is a co-op for Samsung during Fall 2019.
He plans to graduate in Fall 2021.
Yusef Baryoun is a junior studying Mechanical Engineering. He joined the team in 2018 as a member of the mechanical team. In Spring 2019, Yusef worked towards the design and the project management of the remote operated vehicle Eddy.
He plans to graduate in May 2022.
Andrew Tian is a junior majoring in Computer Engineering. He joined in 2018 as an Electrical Team member working on the coprocessor and operator console.
Andrew plans to graduate in Spring 2021 and pursue a Master's degree in either Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Parth Parekh is a Sophomore studying Computer Science and engineering. Parth joined the team in 2018 as a Freshman and was appointed software lead at the end of 2018. During the summer of 2018, Parth worked with Houston Mechatronics and helped create task code for Puddles.
He plans to graduate in 2022.
Collin Barack is a senior studying Engineering Physics. He joined the team in 2018 as a junior working on the mechanical team.
He plans to graduate in spring 2021.
Dr. Ziaeefard joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering department as a lecturer in Fall 2018 and became the team’s advisor in Summer 2019. She earned a master’s degree in Marine Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in Iran. After five years of industry work she attended Michigan Tech University studying Mechanical Engineering earning both a master’s and Ph.D.
