STEMbot is small ROV that was redesigned over the course of the 2018 - 2019 school year with STEM outreach in mind. It is meant to show what is possible with simple components, PVC pipes and an Arduino.
In April 2019 the team visited Alum Creek Elementary school to teach 5th graders about the world of Underwater Robotics. Along with STEMbot we brought along a small pool to engage the students and let them drive it around. We have also put on outreach events on our campus to teach our fellow students what the team is all about.
If you are interested in working with us for an event check out our Outreach page to see more about what we can do and reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions!
